EMDR Clinician (Fully Remote)

About Us

Established by a trauma therapist rather than a VC-backed enterprise, Evergreen Counseling stands as the premier boutique, trauma-informed therapy center in the region.

At Evergreen, our focus revolves around our clients, delivering exceptional, professional, and empathetic care. Every team member is well-versed in trauma-informed practices and has undergone advanced training in trauma treatment modalities. This ensures our ability to cater to clients dealing with both single incident traumas and early relational traumas, often referred to as developmental trauma.

Furthermore, at Evergreen, we prioritize our staff, offering the most comprehensive benefits package among therapy centers in the Bay Area (details below). We maintain a manageable 25-client caseload requirement, provide continuous training, consultation, and opportunities for advanced education. Throughout, our clinical team benefits from highly responsive leadership and administrative support, creating an environment conducive to success in your role as a therapist.

About The Role

We are currently in search of a clinician with EMDR certification, enthusiastic about honing their EMDR skills (with potential growth into EMDR CIT status) while managing a full caseload of 25 EMDR clients weekly.

This role, consistent with all positions at the center, will exemplify the core values of Evergreen Counseling: maintaining professional excellence, warmth, and clinical rigor. Joining our team, this role contributes to our collective effort to establish an inclusive environment for all clients at Evergreen.

In addition to delivering high-quality clinical care to your caseload, you will regularly complete necessary documentation (including treatment plans, SOAP notes, charting, discharge notes, etc.). Responsibilities also include conducting consult calls with prospective clients assigned to your caseload, reaching out to lateral providers as needed, and optionally participating in monthly peer support groups and/or accessing consultation and support from Evergreen Counseling’s clinical leadership team.

At Evergreen Counseling, we prioritize providing our clinicians with the time and support required for self-care and skill development as we fulfill our commitment to serving our clients.
