Why I do this work

Throughout my life, I have experienced much pain and loss, all of which have fostered resiliency, compassion, and a deep desire to partner with others in cultivating the meaningful and peaceful life they want to live. It is through EMDR, both as a clinician and a client, that I found the answers I was looking for---to not only achieve healing for myself but to be able to offer it to others as well.

The best part of my job

The best part of my job is to witness and be a part of the healing, restoration, and transformation processes of individuals, and in turn, the positive impact these life changes have on their loved ones and the community as a whole. As a trauma therapist, I have the privilege and honor of co-creating a ripple effect of healing in as little as one session---healing that would have otherwise been inaccessible, unbelievable, or taken years to attain.

How I spend my free time

Running/strength training with my husband. Enjoying a cup of coffee with my cat furbabies inside the house or on the outdoor patio. Movie nights with friends or at home. Exploring new places/activities with my mother-in-law (especially when it involves eating great food). Getting a massage (or going to a spa of any kind).
